Error Notification: HCAACT User Account Transaction Details (HCAACTD) Runtime Error in Finacle on Windows 7
We have encountered a runtime error in the Finacle application, specifically when accessing the HCAACTD menu and other related menus, on Windows 7 Operating System using Internet Explorer. This error occurred after the deployment of Finacle patches for the MSSC Scheme on March 6, 2025. The patches included security updates that have caused compatibility issues with the existing Windows 7 and Internet Explorer configuration.
Root Cause:
The error is attributed to the outdated Windows 7 Operating System and Internet Explorer version, which are no longer compatible with the latest Finacle security patches.
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, we recommend upgrading the Windows 7 Operating System to a higher version or installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with Internet Explorer 11. This upgrade will ensure compatibility with the latest Finacle security patches and resolve the runtime error.
Action Required:
To avoid any further disruptions, we request that all users upgrade their Windows 7 Operating System and Internet Explorer to the recommended versions at the earliest.

- 1st – Check System Properties (32 bits or 64 bits)
- 2nd – install the Windows Update patches (present in the folder in Link)
- 3rd – install IE – 11 (present in the folder in Link)
